Piedra Pines Lodge is family owned and family hosted. This is the story of how an old farmhouse in the San Juan Valley became our home away from home, and now yours.

Twenty years ago the Coder family searched the San Juan Valley for a vacation home – and this was the one. Open sky, pine-laced ridgelines, and a quiet that settles over you the moment you arrive. What began as a farmhouse became a family retreat, and now it's yours to enjoy.
There are no bad views here. Watch the sun crest the eastern ridge from the back patio with your morning coffee. In the evenings, Piedra Peak turns amber and the valley goes still. Curl up by the fire with a glass of wine and let the mountains do the rest.
The Coder family

More than twenty years ago we searched the San Juan Valley for a vacation home, and we chose this one for its open, relaxing feel. It began as an old farmhouse and bed-and-breakfast. As we worked to renew it, we knew we'd found our second home.
Today the lodge offers 7,400 square feet of Santa Fe style living on three levels: seven bedrooms, each with its own bath, two living areas, a game room and a back patio that faces the whole range.

Seven full bedrooms with their own bathrooms... One room is ADA accessible on the main floor. These are hard to find in vacation homes.
I kept thinking I was looking outside at a portrait or picture of some sorts because the view was that beautiful.
The property manager had set up a Christmas tree and brought a pack n play so we didn't have to bring one.
Every bedroom had its own bathroom, which was a huge plus when everyone was getting ready to ski in the morning.
