Twenty years ago we searched the San Juan Valley for a vacation home - and this was the one. Open sky, pine-laced ridgelines, and a quiet that settles over you the moment you arrive. What began as a farmhouse became our family retreat, filled with two decades of reunions, holidays, powder days, and long summer evenings on the back patio.
Piedra Pines Lodge is nestled in a valley bordered by the San Juan National Forest, with scenic views of the gorgeous San Juan Mountains in every direction. We're just 4 miles west of Pagosa Springs, 45 minutes east of Durango, and only 30 minutes from Wolf Creek Ski Resort.
